So I thought I'd make a thread outlining all of our clan rules (however few they may be)
__________THE RULES.__________
---( Wars will be held every Monday )---
---( Current Trophy requirement: 800 )---
---( Current Donation Requirement: 50 per season )------( Wars will be held every Monday )---
RULE NUMBER 1: So our "biggest" and most important rule has, and always will be, that if someone asks for a specific troop, for example: ["Wizards lvl 3+ please!"], only donate those particular troops. So as in the previous example, you would only donate that individual wizards that are level 3 or higher. If you are caught breaking this rule you will likely be given one warning... If you break this rule again, you'll be getting "the boot."
RULE NUMBER 2: We know that a lot of clans like to just hand out positions in the clan such as "elder" or "co-leader" for simply joining. We're different. We realize that with these positions comes next to no perks or bonuses. With that in mind, we consider them more of a title, and we want everyone to earn that title. So if you're looking to earn your "elder" title, you just need to donate 300 troops in one season. After you've earned that title, you will have to continue to donate AT LEAST 200 troops per season in order to hold onto that title. If you ever lose your title, you will have to "start over" and donate another 300 to get it back. The "co-leader" and "leader" titles are reserved fir the 4 of us that founded the clan. These titles will likely never be rewarded to someone. The 4 of us lead the clan equally without one having more power than the other. We however like to consider everyone as a crucial member and will try to incorporate clan-wide votes as often as possible.
(*NEW RULE*)
RULE NUMBER 3: We want everyone to participate in the clan and have as few "leeches" as possible. So for that reason we've decided to implicate a donation minimum per season. We realize that many of our members prefer to receive some fairly high level troops that many of our members just can't donate. So with that in mind we decided to make the minimum very small to just promote active members and donating. With all that being said, EVERY member must donate AT LEAST 50 troops every season. We feel this a very doable amount that everyone can do.
RULE NUMBER 4: Every member that is part of a war (all of those that aren't spectators) MUST participate. If for some reason you are not going to be able to participate YOU MUST TELL SOMEONE BEFORE THE WAR ENDS. If we notice that someone has not used either of their raids during a war, they have almost guaranteed themselves a boot. If someone only uses one raid... Then what the hell? Just use your second raid... But in all seriousness, if someone does not use their second raid we would hope for a pretty good excuse. This rule is enforced pretty strictly which is why it is incredibly important to tell someone that you will not be able to participate in advance.
RULE NUMBER 5: When it comes to clan wars we want to stay organized so we can keep winning. So we'd like to have everyone reserve their raids. This will be done in one of two ways, you can either contact one of the founders in game with who you would like to raid during the war or you can reserve it directly on the clan war section of this forums (a new war thread will be added every time we enter a war). If you see someone has already reserved a raid please do not go ahead and raid that individual anyway. No actions will likely be taken if you do, but come on... be a "gentlemen." We also ask that you try to take on the most difficult raid you can, but you still however feel confident in your ability to '3 star' it. This way we can reserve many of the easier raids for some of our lower level members and hopefully do as well as possible in our wars.
RULE NUMBER 6: During a clan war, PLEASE do not blindly throw troops into peoples defensive castles. War's are very important to our clan and a poor defense can ruin a war. So just as in rule number 1, if someone has asked for certain troops only give those troops, however if they don't ask for any troops in particular, please only give them good defensive troops. Some good defensive troops include wizards, archers, dragons, and balloons, there are however many more. Please do not donate something useless in terms of defense... like wall breakers.
RULE NUMBER 7: If we notice that an individual has neither received or donated any troops as well as having performed no raids for an entire season. We will assume this player is inactive and we will remove them from the clan. If you know you will be unable to play for several weeks, just let one of the founders know and we'll make sure that nothing happens to you.
RULE NUMBER 8: Just be courteous. I'm not saying you can't curse, joke around, or have some fun... I just mean don't be an obnoxious ass.
RULE NUMBER 9: Have fun and enjoy the game.
Alright, if you just follow these rules you're on your way to becoming a bonafide "Gentlemen."
Well thanks for listening up gents. I'll see you all later.
